Towing most recreational vehicles does not require more than a valid class 5 or class 7 driver's license here in BC. However, some castles on wheels weigh more than 4,600 kilograms when fully loaded require either a house trailer endorsement (code 07) on these licenses or a higher license class or a heavy trailer endorsement (code 20).

Drive your R.V. with confidence! Enjoy a private lesson with our qualified instructor in your R.V. We will help you develop good defensive driving skills and give you practical backing and maneuvering experience.
Class 3 – Trailers or towing vehicles not exceeding 4,600kg. Can exceed 4,600kg only if truck and trailer have air brakes (requires an air brake endorsement as well).
Any motor vehicle combination in Class 5.
Class 4 and 5 with Heavy Trailer Endorsement (Code 20) – Trailers or towing vehicle exceeding 4,600kg where truck and/or trailer does not have airbrakes (code 20).
Any motor vehicle combination in Class 5.
Class 4 and 5 with House trailer Endorsement (Code 07 – formerly Code 51) - Recreational (house) trailer exceeding 4,600kg where neither the truck nor trailer has air brakes.
Our One-on-One Training for your House Trailer Endorsement (Code 7) or Heavy Trailer Endorsement (Code 20) covers all aspects of driving with a house trailer or a heavy trailer and includes the pre-trip requirement for the vehicle and trailer, for taking your ICBC Road Test. We train you on your heavy trailer (must meet the minimum 4,600 kg requirement) or house trailer.
Instructor 1-on-1 Training.
GST exempt. Course is Tax Deductible under Education Professional Training. Road Tests are scheduled through our School.
