If a student is late, or fails to show up for a scheduled lesson Integrity Driving School Instructor will wait 15 minutes before considering the student a no show for an on-road lesson. During this time, the Integrity Driving School Staff / Instructor will attempt to contact the student via phone or text provided on file. After this time, the Integrity Driving School Instructor will leave the arranged pick up location and the lesson will be forfeited. If the student shows up late, the time starts from the original scheduled time, not the time of arrival of student. In the event a student postpones the confirmed training/course or ICBC road test date with the office staff to a later date, due to their change in availability or circumstances will be subject to an administration fee of $150.00. Payment Policy: We require payment prior to the service or as you attend. We have many flexible payment options and plans. Payments options include: Cash, Debit, E-Transfer, Visa Debit, Visa and MasterCard. If you choose a pay-as-you-go method, package discounts are applied on the last lesson.
Road Test: Road tests can only be booked by Integrity Driving School for the student, provided the ICBC consent release form is signed. Student must be enrolled in our program as per ICBC guidelines in order for us to book their road test. Cancellation of a road test requires 72-hour notice or you will be charged $25.00 by ICBC and the vehicle rental and warm up lesson for that day with Integrity Driving School will be forfeited.
Rescheduling: Integrity Driving School reserves the right to reschedule a student’s appointment due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, mechanical vehicle malfunction or another emergency. Integrity Driving School reserves the right to reschedule a classroom session if there are not enough enrolments for any classroom theory courses or workshops. Integrity Driving School will notify the student as soon as possible when any of these circumstances arise, lesson spent driving. and the student will not be charged to reschedule the lesson.
Lessons: All our lessons/training includes our instructors conducting a short review of the previous lesson and debrief summarizing our training and completing student records of the current lesson with the remainder of the time. If an instructor is delayed and arrives late for a scheduled driving lesson, the instructor will still make every effort to conduct the full duration of the scheduled lesson or otherwise time missed will be added to future lessons. No refund of tuition fees or make up lessons will be made for “No Show” or cancelled lessons by the student.
Students Physical and Mental Condition: It is the responsibility of the student or the parents/guardian if under the age of 19 to notify Integrity Driving School if there are any physical, mental or other conditions that can affect the student’s ability to drive safely.
Fees: I realize that additional fees will be charged for any additional training/road test rentals that I may require outside the training package purchased. I understand any commercial training, Class 1-4 packages and the complete motorcycle-training package includes only one (1) ICBC Road Test rental unless otherwise stated in writing on your registration. Any additional training, make up training or rental fees that may be needed, are not included. I understand that Integrity Driving School training does not include Medical Fees or ICBC examination fees. Those fees are the student’s responsibility.
Medications: The student or the parents/guardian if student is under the age of 19 must notify Integrity Driving School if the student takes any kind of medication that may affect the student’s ability to drive safely.
Passengers in Vehicles: There will be a maximum of three persons allowed in the vehicle during any on-road lessons: the student driver, the driving instructor and an observer. The observer may be a parent/guardian, an active student who has permission from the student driver to observe for learning purposes or Integrity Driving School instructor/management who is present to observe the lessons for the purpose of training and quality control.
Student Conduct Policy: Student is responsible to bring their valid learner’s license for every on-road lesson or any time they come to the school for training. Not having a valid driver’s license will result in cancelling the lesson. Student acknowledges that during any training with Integrity Driving School the student will follow the Integrity Driving School Ltd.’s school policy and
Cancellation/Refund Policy: If you have prepaid for a lesson/training/course/ package and wish to discontinue your training, you must withdraw from the program within seven days of the registration date in writing. Approved authorized refunds are paid up to net 60 days. We will only charge you for the training you have received and we will refund the balance of unused prepaid training. All training received to date will be billed at our regular hourly rate and not at the package prices and the administration fee $150.00 will apply. There will be no refunds for lessons already completed. Any cancellation after seven days from the day of registration, the refund will be forfeited.
Behavior: Any negligent behavior on the school’s property or school’s vehicle including not following the instructor’s instructions, being under the influence of drugs, alcohol, fatigue, damaging school property (i.e. Careless/wreckless use of vehicles/motorcycles, not using gloves, putting greasy hands on the vehicles, slamming doors/hoods, or leaving garbage behind in the vehicle etc And not following the B.C. Motor Vehicle Act may result in immediate termination of your course without a refund.
Personal Property: Integrity Driving School Ltd. is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings that are brought into any property belonging to Integrity Driving School Ltd. (i.e. classroom, office, vehicles etc
Privacy Policy: Integrity Driving School is committed to protecting your personal information. We promise to limit the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information to the extent required to conduct business.
Rescheduling/No Show Policy: Students may reschedule any lessons up to two business days (48 hours) before the scheduled lesson time; otherwise the lesson will be forfeited
Road Test Rental/Vehicle Usage: Integrity Driving School reserves the right to deny for the rental of the vehicle the B.C. Motor Vehicle Act. for the road test if a student demonstrates reckless or unsafe behaviour. In that event, Integrity Driving School is not responsible for any loss to the student for the loss of road test appointment with ICBC or any other loss resulting from the cancellation. The vehicle rental with Integrity Driving School will be refunded in that case.
